The W Toronto features more than 250 guest rooms, 30 of which are suites. There are 2 Extreme Wow (Presidential) Suites, which are nearly 1,800 square foot bi-level rooms that include evening turndown service, stunning skyline views, and a minibar.
Located in the hip Yorkville area of Toronto, the hotel features a ton of signature W features for guests, such as Canada’s only W Sound Suite, which can be used by musicians, podcasters, and other entertainers.
The Welcome Desk and Living Room (the W brand’s signature lobby and lounge) span more than 5,000 square feet and include a communal “fire” pit. The hotel features several dining concepts, such as the Public School coffee shop, and Sky, the property’s rooftop and bar.
Guests who need to work or hold business meetings will find 5 event spaces spanning nearly 5,000 square feet.
The W joins other luxury Marriott Bonvoy hotels in the city, including The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto, The St. Regis Toronto, and The Westin Harbour Castle.
“W Toronto is a microcosm of the people, culture, and history of this incredible city,” Craig Reaume, General Manager at W Toronto, said in a statement.
“From the intentional design of each guest room and the authentically diverse menus to the music and vibe of each public space, W Toronto offers a long overdue alternative to the luxury hotel scene,” the statement continued.
Like other W properties, the new Toronto hotel is part of the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, and members can earn and redeem points at the hotel. The lowest rates for dates this summer and fall start at 42,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night for a Wonderful Guest Room with a courtyard view.
The W brand has more than 60 hotels worldwide and is one of Marriott’s most well-known thanks to its eclectic design.
